The benefit of this book is that it provides in one place the tasks that need to be done to effectively show your home. Declutter the house, put toys away, keep driveway clear of toys, cut grass, pick up animal poo, trim shrubs, thoroughly clean the house, repair cracked window etc. Nothing new here but the author identifies essential tasks that allows the homeowner to create a plan to repair windows, tiles etc. that once done are done and then concentrate on the repetitive tasks that must be done weekly such as yard work and tasks that should be done daily or before a scheduled showing. The focus is on creating a home that dazzles on first impression. I am not selling a home. I bought the book because its cheap and I am planning a home make over. If I follow the author’s advice I will have a home that I will not want to sell. But, a makeover involves much more, so, I put this in the category of “Things I need to do to maintain a house that makes me feel good when I walk in the door.”
